ACAMEDIC PROGRAMS

Seventh Grade

The Grade 7 Program is designed for students to complete all of their work on line, and is based on the prescribed learning standards of the Department of Education. Riverdale Middle School learning standards outline what a student should know and be able to do by the end of the grade level. There are also additional skills that a well-rounded student should possess.Students are expected to finish all of their courses by early June so that they are equipped for the next year of study and there is time to prepare the final report card before summer break.

Eighth Grade

Students will spend their last year of middle school building on what they learned as sixth- and seventh-grade students, strengthening any areas of weakness, and digging into more complex coursework as they prepare for high school.Eighth grade deepens students' focus on solving problems and becoming independent thinkers. Riverdale Middle school academic standards outline the specific academic skills the students needs for eighth grade.

Ninth Grade

RMS takes ninth graders through an enjoyable learning experience as we provides ninth-grade students with the flexibility they need in high school.Students build core foundational skills in Science, Math, English, and the Arts while developing a sense of self-awareness. Abilities are monitored so the student can focus on results in academic courses while exploring electives. Grade 9 demands focus to master core concepts and progress personal achievements.

Tenth Grade

Students are exposed to an interactive wide range of online course work. RMS offer interactive curriculum to Grade 10th students and the courses is designed to peak students' interests and engage them in the learning process to achieve academic success. Students study core subjects that include English, Mathematics, Science, Social studies, Fine Art, Foreign Language and may choose from an ever-growing variety of electives. The main objective of each course is preparatory for college, career, and work life.
